The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin the application process for JoSAA counselling 2022 from tomorrow, September 12, 2022. Students who have cleared the JEE Main and JEE Advanced can apply for the counseling.
JoSAA counseling is mandatory for students seeking admissions in IITs, NITs and other government-funded technical institutions.
As per the schedule, students will be able to register and fill choices of preferred institutions and courses from tomorrow, September 12 onwards. For JEE Advances AAT students, the process will start on September 17.
The mock allocation lists, based on students’ choices of preferred institutions, will be issued on the official website on September 17 and September 19. They will be able to lock their choices from September 20.
Students must note that the registration and choice filling process will end on September 21.
The result of the Round 1 seat allotment will be declared on September 23. Selected students will have to report online for admission at their preferred institution up to September 26.
The JoSAA counseling will have five more rounds followed by two special rounds of CSEB counseling, which is for the NIT and other institutes, (excluding IITs) system only.
Meanwhile, JEE Advanced 2022 results have been declared and the AAT 2022 exam registration for admission to BArch, BPlanning courses at IITs have started.
