ISRO Recruitment 2020: Hiring begins for various posts; 18 years can apply

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has started an application form for multiple posts at isro.gov.in. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application form before March 6, 2020.

The vacancies are invited by U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) is the lead center of ISRO for satellite technology.

The hiring will be done for 182 positions at URSC.

• 102 vacancies are for Technician-B
• 3 for Draughtsman-B
• 41 for technical assistant
• 2 for Hindi typist
• 5 for Catering Attendant-A’
• 5 for cook
• 4 for fireman-A
• 4 for Light Vehicle Driver-A
• 5 for Heavy Vehicle Driver-A
• 4 for library assistant
• 7 for scientific assistant

Age limit for ISRO Recruitment 2020

Before applying for the positions candidates should check the age limit required that are given below:

• For Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant, Technician B, Cook, Heavy Vehicle Driver A’, and Light Vehicle Driver A’ vacancies: The minimum age limit required for the post is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 35 years.
• For Hindi Typist, and Catering Attendant-A’ posts: Candidate should be between 18-26 years old, while for Fireman-A posts, the age limit should be between 18-25 years.

ISRO Recruitment 2020: Application fee

• General, OBC and EWS category: Rs 300
• Women / Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes; Ex-serviceman [EX-SM] and Persons With Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
