Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: Selection through JEE Main score; here’s how to apply

Indian Navy has released a notification for 10+2 Cadet entry scheme. The selection of the candidates will be based through JEE Main score 2019.

Interested candidates can apply for the four-year degree course by visiting the official website of Indian Navy at joinindiannavy.gov.in.

The last date to apply for the exam is 17th June 2019.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who have qualified Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examinations from any board. Also, he/she should have at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in class X and Class XII).

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit to apply for the vacancy is 18 years.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Rank 2019. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the SSB interview which will be conducted at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore / Visakhapatnam/ Kolkata from Aug to Oct 2019.

Also, two stages of SSB interview will be conducted for the selection of the examination.

Stage 1 exam will consist of Intelligence test, Picture Perception test, and Group Discussion. Aspirants who will qualify the Stage 1 will appear for the Stage 2 interview, which includes Psychological testing, Group testing, and Interview which will last for 04 days.

After these two stages, candidates will have to undergo Medical Examination.
