IBPS RRB Recruitment 2020: It’s official! Exam dates out, know change in exam pattern due to COVID

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has finally released the tentative dates for RRB exams on its official website. Interested students can check the official exam dates for preliminary, and main examinations.

As per the notification released by IBPS, RRB exams will be conducted from September 12 onwards. Candidates who will qualify the first stage, they will be called for the main examination that will be held in October and a single exam for Officer scale II, and III level posts will be held on October 18.

Other important details:

Candidates who will qualify the prelims and mains exam will be recruited at the level of officers (scale I, II, and III) which is at Group A level and office assistant (multipurpose) at the group B level.

Under this recruitment drive released by IBPS, a total of 43 banks have advertised to fill the RRB vacancies.

The official notice further said that the pre-exam training will begin from August 24 to 29 and the admit card for the same will be released on August 12.

IBPS’s office assistant and officer level exams will be of 45 minutes and there will be 80 questions to be solved in 80 minutes. There will be reasoning and numerical ability. While mains exam will be of 200 marks and there will be 200 questions to be solved in two hours. The single exam will be for the post of officer scale II.

Check changes due to COVID outbreak:

Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, IBPS may not conduct the PET exam for the safety of aspirants. Also, there will be limited candidates in the pre-exam. Also, the cut-off for the main and prelims exam will vary on the basis of the number of candidates. As per the notification, the cut-off will be released after the exam gets over.
