GATE 2018: Last date for registration ends on 5th October; Follow these steps to apply

The last date to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will not be extended. Therefore, aspiring candidates can apply for the exam on the official website (gate.iitg.ac.in).

The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) is conducting the examination on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018.

The form is available on official website (gate.iitg.ac.in).

As per the official notification the last date will not be extended therefore candidates should apply before the last date as the application portal may slow down at the last moment which would result in payment failure.

“In the email, please mention the Enrollment ID as well as nature of corrections to be done along with the scanned copy of proof,” IITG said in a notification.

Here is how you can apply for GATE 2018:

Visit the official website of GATE at gate.iitg.ac.in

Enter the required details like college name and address with PIN code, GATE 2018 paper (subject), choice of GATE 2018 examination cities, photograph etc

Click “Save and View Application” button

Click “Submit and Proceed to Payment” button

Pay the fee

The last date to apply for GATE 2018 is on October 5, 2017.
