DU Cut Off List 2018: Varsity to announce its first cut-off for UG merit-based next week; know when
Students who are planning to take admissions in Delhi University and waiting for the cut-off list then brace yourself as the cut-off likely to go higher this year. Reportedly, the first cut-off of DU likely to be released in next week. Reportedly, Arts and Commerce programmes cut-off will be going to higher in comparison to last year. While the merit list for Science courses will remain same or slightly differed.
According to the reports, DU first cut-off for the UG merit-based courses will be announced on 19th June 2018. As per the reports of PTI, around 1,26,327 candidates have applied for the BA (Hons) English programme while for BA (Programme) there are around 1,05,818 students applied, according to the data shared by the DU.
As the first cut off will be announced by the varsity for the rest of the DU colleges on 19th June then the admission process will be started till 21st June 2018.
As per the reports, the first cut-off lists for DU colleges likely to follow the same trends as St Stephen’s College.
Considering the St. Stephens cut-offs, there are the expectations that the cut off for Humanities and Commerce stream courses likely to increase for other DU colleges and may remain same or decreases marginally for Science courses.
Talking about last year, the first cut off was released in the last week of June 2018. The DU north campus, SGTB college has set an excellent cut off 98.75 which is higher than the rest of the other top colleges of DU.
