CTET Eligibility Criteria 2019: Know major change introduced by CBSE for December exam
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2019 exam. Before applying for CTET Paper I and Paper II, candidates should know the major change that would sigh a relief for aspirants.
This year, CBSE will conduct the CTET 2019 exam on December 8, 2019. Also, the CTET exam will be held in 20 languages in 110 cities across the country.
CBSE has started its registration process on 19th August 2019 and also released the information bulletin. The last date to apply for the CBSE CTET exam is 18th September 2019. As we all know that CBSE conducted two papers for CTET exam in a different shift.
Every aspirant must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
As of now, CBSE has made a major change to the criteria for aspirants who want to become a teacher for Classes VI-VIII or Elementary Stage.

For Paper II:
CBSE has introduced changes for paper II that candidates who have passed or appearing in first-year exam of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) can also apply for the exam. Also, 50% marks are required for graduate aspirants.
OR
Candidates who either hold the degree of Graduation or appearing in 1-year in B.Ed in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations and also hold 45% marks can apply for the exam.
