CBSE CTET Notification 2018: Know the exam date for 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 on 12th June 2018. Candidates who are waiting for the opportunity can apply for the CTET on the official website of CBSE. Before applying for the competitive exam, all candidates are advised to go through the official notification released by the CBSE and know the eligibility criteria for the exam.
According to the official notification, the 11th edition of CTET will be conducted in the month of September i.e. 16th September 2018 on Sunday in 92 cities all across the country.
However, the online application process for the CTET will begin on 22nd June. While the last date for submitting the online application form is 19th July 2018 and online fees can be submitted till 21st July 2018 before 3:30 pm on the official site of CTET at
Check out the CTET exam pattern:
Paper 1 will be for an aspirant who wanted to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
Paper 2 will be for a candidate who wishes to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8.
Exam timings:
Paper II will be held between 9.30 am to 12.00 pm
Paper I will be conducted from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm.
Check out the eligibility criteria for the aspirants who wanted to become a teacher for Classes 1 to 5:
1. The candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam. Candidate must have at least 50% marks in the same.
2. Besides having Class 12th degree, the candidate also has at least 45%, he/ she should appear in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

Here's how to apply for the CTET online application form:
STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
STEP 2: Go to the link 'Apply Online' and open the same.
STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration
No./Application No.
STEP 4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature
STEP 5: Pay examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card
STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference
Application fees:
The application fees for a paper I or II for General and OBC category is Rs 700 while for both paper I & II is 1200 and for SC/ST/differently abled person is Rs 350 for Paper I or II while for both papers, the application fees are Rs 600.
