CBSE Class 12th Results 2018: Know who is topper of Board exam; 83% pass
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12th result on the official website today. Therefore, all the students who had appeared for the exam can check their Class 12th result on the official website of CBSE. The Board has released the results for more than 11 lakh students who had registered for the examination.
Anil Swarup, secretary, Education Ministry, took to Twitter and wrote, ‘Results of Class 12 CBSE Exams declared. Can be accessed now through following modes: (On account of too many people accessing these sites initially, some of these sites may take time to respond. Kindly be patient).’
If we compared this year result with the previous year then, the result has been improved. As in 2017, there was a total passing percentage was 82.02% while this year, there is 83.01% students passed the Class 12th Board examination.
The highest passing percentage has recorded in Trivandrum at 97.32% while the second state where the passing percentage is also high in Chennai, was the passing percentage reached to 93.87, followed by Delhi at 89%. However, girl outshine has defeated the boys this year. The total passing percentage of girls is 88.31% while passing percentage of the boy is 78.99%.
Well everybody wanted to know who topped the CBSE Class 12th Board examination 2018, then, here is the list of toppers.
Check out the name of CBSE Class 12th topper:
1. Meghna Shrivastava, who scored 499 marks in her Class 12th exam and become the topper of the Board exam. According to the reports, she is a student of by Step School, Sec-132, Taj Expressway Ghaziabad.
2. Anoushka Chandra, who scored 498 marks in her Board exam and become the second topper. She is a student of SAJ School, Sec 14C, Vasundhara Ghaziabad.
3. Well, there are seven students who are at the third position with 497 marks. Of these seven - one is from Jaipur, 1 from Ludhiana, 1 from Haridwar, 1 from Noida, 1 from Meerut and 2 from Ghaziabad.
