CBSE class 12 board exam results declared
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class XII results on Monday.
18417 schools gave the CBSE class XII examinations at 7126 centres. This year the overall pass percentage is 87.98 a 0.65 percent increase since 2023. The Trivandrum region registered the highest pass percentage at 99.91 per cent.
In 2024, the Class 12 examinations spanned from February 15 to April 2. Each day, a session began at 10:30 AM and concluded at 01:30 PM. Approximately 39 lakh students from roughly 26 different countries partook in these exams.
This year, the pass rate for female students is 91.52 per cent, compared to 90.68 per cent last year. Among male students, the pass rate is 85.12 per cent.
To discourage unhealthy competition, no merit list will be published.
Trivandrum boasts the highest pass percentage at 99.91 per cent, followed by Vijayawada and Chennai at 99.04 per cent and 98.47 per cent, respectively.
On the other end, Prayagraj recorded the lowest pass percentage regionally at 78.25 per cent, followed by Noida (80.27), Guwahati (82.05), and Bhopal (82.46).
