CBSE Class 10th Board Exam 2018: Good news! Passing percentage revised for the students
CBSE has released a new notification for the Class 10 students before the commencement of the Board exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education has revised the passing criteria for the examination 2018.
As per the new regulation of CBSE, now students have to score overall 33% (internal assessment and board exam marks, taken together). CBSE has released the notification on 27 February on the official website. It has also permitted the students to use the computers to write the examination for CSWN candidates.
This change in criteria will surely give the relief to the students who are going to appear this year for the exams. However, this new regulation will also be implemented on the additional subjects including the internal assessment as well as board exam.
Earlier, on 30 January 2017, CBSE has restored class 10 board exam from the academic session 2017-2018, after seven years.
According to the CBSE official notification, 'The examination committee of the board in its meeting held on February 16 after considering the circumstances and the facts that the current batch of class X (2018) is coming from a different assessment background while they were in class IX (in 2017) resolved to approve the following for this batch as a one-time measure'.
However, the Board has released the admit cards on the official website and also the schools have also issued the same. Earlier, CBSE has also given a strict warning to the schools that they can not hold any student admit card now because of their performance in pre-board exams.
