Bihar Police Jobs 2020: New recruitment drive released for 2213 posts; check eligibility criteria
Bihar Police Subordinate Selection Commission (BPSSC) has invited entries for the recruitment drive to the post of Police Sub Inspector (PSI) and Sergeant. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria required for the posts released by BPSSC.
The application window for the posts of PSI and Sergeant will begin from August 16, 2020. The last date to submit the application window is September 24, 2020. Under this recruitment drive, ex-servicemen and employees of the Bihar Government can also apply.
This year, a total of 2213 vacancies are released under BPSSC, against advertisement number 03/2020. To apply for the positions, aspirants should be graduates.

Bihar Police SI Salary:
Candidates who will qualify the exam will get the following salary:
· Police Sub Inspector (PSI) - Level 6 (Rs. 35400 - 112400)
· Sergeant - Level 6 (Rs. 35400 - 112400)
Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Police SI and Sergeant Posts
Educational Qualification:
To apply for the vacancies aspirants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
Age Limit:
· General (Male) and EWC (Male) - 20 to 37 Years
· EBC, BC, Female General Candidates, and Female EWC Candidates - 20 to 40 Years
· SC, ST (Male and Female) - 20 to 42 Years
Note: Reserved category aspirants will get the age relaxation as per government norms.
Selection Process for Bihar Police SI Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test i.e. Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam.
