AIIMS MBBS 2018: Online application process begin; know how to apply

AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences has released the official notification on the website. The online application process has started from today and will remain open until 5 March 2018. The entrance examination for admissions to MBBS courses will be conducted across various AIIMS. Therefore, it's a golden opportunity for the aspirants to apply for MBBS course today.

The application forms for AIIMS MBBS 2018 is available now on the official website. All the interested candidates can apply. This entrance exam would only for taking admission to AIIMS New Delhi MBBS courses as well as MBBS courses in 8 other AIIMS across the country including Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) & Nagpur (Maharashtra). The candidates will be selected through the computer-based examination that will be conducted in the month of May 2018. According to the report, the entrance exam will be declared in the month of June 2018 and after the result declaration, the counselling process will begin.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the course, the candidate must have attained the age of 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission. He or she should qualified class 12th board exam with PCB(Physics, Chemistry and Biology) stream including English. Whereas candidates of General category must have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the same subject. While for SC/ST/OPH category minimum 50% is required. Those with CGPA Grades will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form.

Step I: Open the official website of AIIMS at www.aiimsexams.org
Step II: Click on Academic Courses tab shown on the website
Step III: Open the MBBS link displaying on the page
Step IV: Read the instruction carefully and move on the next page
Step V: Click on New Registration and fill up the form
Step VI: Submit the fees

All the students are informed that without the submission of application fees their form will not be considered. The candidates will receive the confirmation from the website on their email id. However, the admit card status will be displayed on the official website. Students are required to check the website daily for more information.
