The Millennials have created a whole new lingo; are you on board?

Are you one of those kids whose favourite subject was English? You belonged to that rare species of people who actually enjoyed learning about grammar. And growing up, you came to think of languages as one of the most fascinating things and began learning new ones in a bid to make a career out of it. You even had your Grammar Nazi phase (not the attention-seeking annoying troll), and are the one always correcting your friends’ language errors. But then stopped! Why? Because you realized that as we were evolving, our language and its rules were evolving too. Yep, even a rigid, orthodox language like English. And who are we to hamper such evolution, right?

One of the biggest factors to influence this evolution of language are—drumroll please—we, the Millennials! The world calls it Internet slang. But what it actually is, is a whole new language that’s being developed. And here’s the perfect testament to this fact.

Twitter user Deanna Hoak shared a screenshot of a Tumblr post that talks about how our generation has managed to create a whole new lingo using what normally you call ‘incorrect English’.
