Sharad Navratri to Begin from October 3, Goddess Durga to Arrive in Doli

Gwalior: The grand festival of Sharad Navratri, a celebration of feminine power, is set to begin on October 3. This year, the goddess will arrive in a doli (palanquin) and will be worshipped with great fervour and enthusiasm. The festival will commence with the installation of the Kalash on October 3, which will be done during the Indra Yog and Hasta Nakshatra. According to astrology, Hasta Nakshatra represents the sun god and is considered auspicious for the worship of Goddess Durga.

Preparations in Full Swing

Preparations for the festival are in full swing in the city. The main temples of the city are being decorated and prepared for the festival. Meanwhile, idols of Goddess Durga are being prepared in different parts of the city. The Bengal community will also celebrate Durga Puja from October 8.

Special Benefits for Three Zodiac Signs

This year, three zodiac signs - Taurus, Scorpio, and Aquarius - will receive special benefits during the festival. Taurus will experience financial gains and good health, while Scorpio will get success in exams, promotion in jobs, and financial gains. Muhurat for Kalash Installation

The auspicious time for Kalash installation is between 6:11 am and 7:42 am, and again between 9:12 am and 10:43 am. The Abhijit Muhurat will be between 11:49 am and 12:37 pm.

* October 4 (Friday): Worship of Goddess Brahmacharini

* October 7 (Monday): Worship of Goddess Skandmata
* October 8 (Tuesday): Worship of Goddess Katyayani
* October 9 (Wednesday): Worship of Goddess Kalaratri
* October 10 (Thursday): Worship of Goddess Siddhidatri
* October 11 (Friday): Worship of Goddess Mahagauri and immersion of idols

On October 12, the idols of Goddess Durga will be immersed, and the festival of Dussehra will also be celebrated.
