As per a report published in The Times of India, the head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Daniel Vettori is the highest paid coach.
He is followed by Royal Challengers Banglore bowling coach, Ashish Nehra, who draws a cheque of Rs 4 Crore. Ricky Ponting, coach of Delhi Daredevils earns 3.7 crores while Chennai Super KIngs Coach Stephen Fleming is fourth on the list with hefty amount 3.2 crores.
Surprisingly, head coach of Kings XI Punjab, Virender Sehwag, sits at fifth rank with a salary of Rs 3 Crore, followed by Rajasthan Royals’ coach Shane Warne, who draws cheque of Rs 2.7 Crore.
Kolkata Knight Riders’ head coach Jacques Kallis and Mumbai Indians’ head coach Mahela Jayawardene withdraw a cheque of Rs 2.25 Crore.
VVS Laxman and Tom Moody, members of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s coaching staff, are paid Rs 2 Crore followed by Gary Kirsten, batting coach RCB, and Lasith Malinga, bowling mentor MI, who draw Rs 1.5 Crore each.
