Watch: Dazzling Kieron Pollard caught AB de Villiers off guard after ABD's 360 degree show

The Indian Premier League matches are becoming more and more nail biting everyday. Last night was one such game between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore where the game was on until the last over.

During the first innings of the game, Mumbai Indians forced RCB to bat first after they lost the toss. Opener Virat Kohli was dismissed for 8 runs and Parthiv Patel was sent back after playing a little cameo of 20-ball 28. AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali took the matters into their own hands and steadied the innings as both of the scored half-century.

After Ali was dismissed for 32-ball 50, AB de Villiers upped the ante as he was hitting shots around the park. But de Villiers became an unfortunate victim of a run-out. In the 20th over, he decided to go after the bowler from the very first ball. He hit Malinga for a six at deep mid-wicket and knocked the ball at long-on to take a single.

De Villiers took a single and obviously wanted to go back on strike as he was looking for another run but at the other end Akshdeep Nath sent him back from halfway down and Kieron Pollard’s throw hit directly at stumps and de Villiers was run-out. That was probably the game changing moment as RCB felt 10-15 runs short and lost the game while defending it.

Mumbai Indians won the match by 5 wickets as Hardik Pandya finished the game in the 19th over. Malinga was awarded the man of the match trophy for his 4 wicket haul.
