Virat Kohli has a message for Pakistan ahead of World Cup clash
Indian skipper Virat Kohli is playing his first World Cup as a captain and if this was not enough to build pressure people are expecting that he will keep the record against Pakistan intact. India have never lost a World Cup match against Pakistan. Both the teams have met six time in the 50-over tournament and India have won all the encounters.
Virat Kohli attended a press conference ahead of India’s clash against Pakistan and he was asked many questions related to the match. Among them was that if he is feeling any pressure ahead of the big game, to which he replied that this is just another game for him and he is not seeing as something different.
“I don't see it a massive challenge. If you play good cricket, follow basics better than the opposite then you end up winning the game. If we do our skills well that is enough. Our focus will be that and to do it consistently as it is a long tournament. The mood, atmosphere in the dressing room hasn't changed. No one game is more special or less important than others regardless of the opposition.”
Virat Kohli also indicated few changes in the team depending on weather and conditions. India will face their arch-rival Pakistan on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
