Video: Virat Kohli ignores security guard to click selfie with wheelchair bound kids
With his strong leadership quality, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has always drawn everyone's attention on the field as well as off the field. And this time, the player has grabbed people eyes after he went beyond the security line to give autograph to kids sitting on wheelchair and also clicked selfies with them.
In a video that is making rounds on the Internet, the Delhi lad was spotted giving his time to the wheelchair bound children without thinking about his security. After concluding the series between India and New Zealand, the player was heading for boarding the bus but before that he stopped to click the selfies with children and obliged his fans.
Despite of having tight cricket schedule, Kohli personally checked sketches and collage that were made by his ‘special’ fans for him. The run machine of Indian cricket team took everyone's phone and clicked selfies with them.
Recently, Kohli-led team India sealed the series by beating the kiwis 2-1. After concluding the series against black caps, team India is now gearing themselves to play the three Tests, three ODIs and three Twenty20 matches against Sri Lanka to be begin from this month.
In the pre-match press conference, Kohli had said, “I don't want to disappoint children when I see them because someone can get inspired at some stage and do something productive. I always look forward to sign autographs and do pictures for the kids but then the add-ons come along and it gets a bit difficult. But for kids I always stop."
Team India will begin its tour of Sri Lanka from November 16.
