The former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra played his last International match at Firoz Shah Kotla against New Zealand on 1 November. Even though in his last match Ashish was not as good with his bowling skills as he normally is, but the Indian speedster impressed his skipper Virat Kohli and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal with his footy skills.
The veteran player was playing his last game and the game will always be remembered in the history of cricket because the win over New Zealand was India's first win in T20 in a decade. Nehra bowling figure in his final match was 4-0-29-0.
In his career, Ashish Nehra has gone through many injuries. He had made his come back in International cricket after a gap of four years for India during Australia tour in January.
Recently, a few days back Nehra had announced that he had said he will retire from his 18 year International cricket career.
Earlier, after winning the toss the New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson invited men-in-blue to bat. With the help of two explosive fifties from his opener Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli's boys posted a total sum of 202 runs in 20 overs.
In the first match of three match T20 International India defeated Kiwi team by 53 runs. And took a lead of 1-0 in the series.
