Stuart Broad has this to say about Yuvraj Singh's retirement, the man who hit him for six sixes

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket and the Indian Premier League. Yuvraj, however, said that he would like to play in foreign T20 leagues if BCCI allowed him to do so. Yuvraj Singh held a press conference to announce his retirement to the world.

Cricketers who played with him wished him luck for his future endeavours and among them was Englishman Stuart Broad, who was famously hit for six sixes in an over by Yuvraj Singh. Broad took to his official Twitter account to wish Yuvraj and wrote, “Enjoy retirement Legend @YUVSTRONG12.”

Broad received a lot of praise from Indian fans for his kind gesture. The Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings’ official Twitter handle wrote, “Broadminded gentleman you!”

 

Stuart Broad was hit for six sixes in an over by Yuvraj Singh during India versus England match in 2007 T20 World Cup held in South Africa. Yuvraj hit Broad for six sixes after having a heated argument with England skipper Andrew Flintoff.

Yuvraj Singh also talked to the press after the announcement where he revealed the one bowler he feared the most was Muttiah Muralitharan and Glenn McGrath. Ricky Ponting was the player he admired the most along with AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle.
