Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara 'stalked' by a man, Mumbai police makes arrest

Rajya Sabha MP and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar was “stalked” by a man for a long time. The Mumbai police arrested the accused on Sunday from Kolkata.

Sara had lodged a complaint some time ago in Mumbai's Bandra police station that she was constantly harassed over phone call and was using abusing language for her. Police said that Sara's complaint was being worked on. The man, who mistreated her, was arrested from Kolkata on Sunday.

The accused has been identified as Debkumar Maity of Bengal. Mumbai Police has arrested him with the help of Kolkata Police. And now the accused has been brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

"I saw her on tv sitting at the pavilion during a match and fell in love...I want to marry her. I fetched the landline number of Tendulkar and have called on it some 20 times...Have never seen her in person," Debkumar Maity told police.
