Virat Kohli is leading team India in the ongoing World Cup in England and Wales. Kohli is doing a great job as he has led his team to three victories out of the four matches India has played. Former India cricketer and legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar recently had some good things to say about captain Kohli. Sachin praised Kohli’s captaincy in World Cup 2019 as he said, “the way Kohli has led the team so far is remarkable.”
Virat Kohli led team India recently defeated their arch-rival Pakistan by 89 runs (DLS) method in a one-sided affair. Virat Kohli scored 77 in the match and also became the fastest batsman in the world to reach 11,000 runs, breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record.
India will play against Afghanistan in Southampton tomorrow and they will look to continue their winning streak in the tournament. Virat Kohli will look to break Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar’s record to become the fastest to 20,000 international runs. Kohli is just 104 runs away from breaking that record.
