Since making his debut in 2007, Ross Taylor has featured in 112 Test matches for New Zealand and scored 7,684 runs, which includes 19 hundreds and 35 half-centuries.

He was also the part of the Blackcaps' side that won the World Test Championship final against India in 2020.

In the proceeding series, after losing the first match, the kiwis are in a commanding position in the second Test, having taken a 395-run first-innings lead.

New Zealand put up 521/6 declared in their first innings with stand-in skipper Tom Latham (252) knocking a superb double hundred and No.3 batter Devon Conway hitting 109 runs.

Nevertheless, Trent Boult scalped a five-wicket haul to help the side bundle out Bangladesh for 126 runs in the 1st innings. The pacer also recorded 300 wickets in red ball cricket on Monday.

The visiting side Bangladesh lead 1-0 in the two-match Test series against NZ.
