Ranveer Singh is not doing my biopic: Kapil Dev

Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame director Kabir Khan is going to make a film on 1983 cricket world cup, in which Ranveer Singh will be seen in Kapil Dev's role. Till now there were the discussions that it will be a biopic on Kapil Dev, but now legendary cricketer totally has denied this and told it is just a rumour.

Kapil Dev told, "Ranveer Singh starrer film is not a biopic, rather it is a 1983 world cup story-based film."

Recently when Kapil was asked about the film, then he replied: "first of all it is not a biopic on me."

Kapil Dev added, "The film will be based on 1983 world cup in which other cricketers like Mohinder Amarnath, Sunil Gavaskar was also with me on the team. How much it will be on me, at the same on the other cricketers also. So it is wrong to say biopic on me."

This is to notice these days the script of the film is under process and soon the shooting of the film will start. According to the information, the film will be officially announced on 27th September.

On the other hand, Kabir Khan who is directing this film has lots of expectations from this project as he is working on it from a long time. Kabir Khan's last flick Tubelight was a flop at the box office.
