Pakistan pacer takes a dig at Pakistan Cricket Board over World Cup snub

Pacer Junaid Khan takes a dig at Pakistan Cricket Board over his exclusion from the World Cup squad. Junaid was initially named in the provisional World Cup squad but was later ignored as Mohammad Amir got a place in the team. Junaid deserved a place in the squad as he got a limited chance in the 12 months but impressed every time.

Junaid recently took to his Twitter account to criticise PCB’s decision of picking Mohammad Amir over him, despite the former not playing a single game due to chickenpox in the recently concluded ODI series against England. Junaid wrote, “I don’t want to say anything. Truth is bitter. (Sach karwa hotha hai).”

Saj Sadiq, a cricket journalist from Pakistan Tweeted, “Pakistan Cricket - the gift that keeps on giving #Cricket.” He also mentioned that Junaid has been playing ODI cricket for more than 8 years but has never played a match in the World Cup.

Pakistan cricket team recently lost a five-match ODI series against England by 4-0, the first match was washed by rains. The series was a high scoring affair as every match saw 300 plus scores from both sides.
