MS Dhoni placed behind PM Modi in the list of most admired men in India

MS Dhoni got the better of Indian skipper Virat Kohli in the list of most admired men in India in 2019, as per the survey conducted by YouGov. MS Dhoni, who earned an admiration point of 8.58 percent is only behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi 15.66 percent in the list.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is seventh in the list with a score of 4.46 percent. A place above the Indian skipper is cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar with an admiration score of 5.81 percent according to the survey.

Other sports personalities who made it to the list were, Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo with an admiration score of 2.95 percent. As per the survey, Cristiano Ronaldo is more admired in India than Barcelona talisman and FIFA player of the year 2019 Leo Messi who has 2.32 percent.

Among the female personalities, Mary Kom is the most admired women in India with the admiration score of 10.36 percent. She is also the only Indian female sports personality on the list.

As per the survey, Bill Gates continues to be the most admired person in the world, while on the other hand Angelina Jolie has been replaced by Michelle Obama as the most admired women in the world.

The report also suggests that the top five men stays the same as last year. Barack Obama takes the second spot, actor Jackie Chan in third, China President Xi Jinping in fourth and Jack Ma in fifth place.
