MS Dhoni is just one run short of achieving this amazing milestone

Many feat has been achieved in an ongoing ODI series against West Indies. Virat Kohli demolished the bowling attack in the first three ODI matches to become the first Indian batsman to score three consecutive century in one-day internationals. Kohli also became the fastest batsman to get 10,000 ODI runs, he achieved this feat in just 205 innings.

Rohit Sharma surpassed Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar in the list of most sixes by an Indian batsman. Rohit is trailing at 198 ODI sixes and if he gets two more he will be second Indian batsman to score 200 plus sixes in 50-over format after MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni today will look to score his 10,000 ODI runs. Dhoni is just one run short at 9,999 runs. Though Dhoni has 10,173 runs in ODIs, however the runs also contains 174 runs which he made against the Africa XI, while representing Asia XI in a three match series in 2007.

If MS enters the elite 10,000 run club today in Thiruvananthapuram he will be the fifth Indian and 13th overall to join this club. Dhoni and Kohli will be its only active players.
