Mithali Raj surpassed Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in this T20Is record

Mithali Raj became the highest run scorer for India in T20Is on 11 November 2018. Raj achieved this feat playing for India against Pakistan in ICC T20 World Cup.

Mithali Raj, by achieving this amazing feat surpassed Rohit Sharma to become the highest run getter for India in T20Is.

Mithali scored 56 runs for 47 balls to help India chase the 133 runs target set by Pakistan in just 19 overs.

Mithali now has 2,232 runs from 84 matches at an average of 37.20, with the best score of 97. As for Rohit, he has 2,207 runs from 87 matches at an average of 33.43, with a career-best of 118 runs.

Raj was already ahead of Indian skipper Virat Kohli in the list, who has 2,012 runs in 72 innings.

Mithali Raj is the leading run scorer for India in all three formats i.e. Tests, ODIs and T20Is.

Mithali is also an Arjuna awardee as well as a Padma Shri awardee
