In the 48th match of IPL (Indian Premier Leauge) Virat Kohli led team Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated R Ashwin led team Kings XI Punjab. RCB defeated KXIP in this interesting match by 10 wickets and now this win has given new hopes to RCB for qualifying in the playoffs. RCB skipper Virat Kohli and opening batsman Parthiv Patel didn't take it hard for the clear win.
Both the batsmen played a brilliant partnership of 89 runs and with this, they completed the target of 89 runs by 10 wickets. Both the batsmen played hard-hitting batting and won the match in just 8.1 overs.
However, the all eyes were on Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli during the match as this is really interesting to see Gayle playing against Kohli after a long time. Many thought there will be a tough competition and it will turn rivalry between both two players, but what happened on the ground shocked everyone.
Well, when Virat Kohli played a brilliant inning and assured the win for the team, went to meet opponent player Chris Gayle and they both hugged each other. The interesting thing is that they both did the same hug what they used to do while playing together in RCB. Meanwhile, this is to notice that Chris Gayle was very upset with Virat Kohli and RCB owners when they didn't retain Gayle in the 11th season.
