Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who recently went on to become the first Indian to take two international hat-tricks, will be looking to add yet another feather to his cap when India take on the West Indies in the final ODI match in Cuttack.
The 24-year-old, who is sure to feature in the deciding match post his sublime display with the ball in Vizag, will get to the 100 wickets mark in ODI cricket if he manages just one wicket on Sunday.

Kuldeep will go on to become the 22nd Indian cricketer to scalp 100 ODI wickets. The spinner, has so far taken 99 wickets in 54 ODIs, will also become the joint fastes Indian to take 100 wickets in the limited overs format. Currently the record is held by pacer Mohammed Shami, who accomplished the record in 55 ODIs.
Among the spinners, Kuldeep will go on to become the eighth Indian to take 100 ODI wickets.
Former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble holds the record for being the highest wicket taker for the men in blue in ODIs with 334 wickets in 269 ODIs. He is followed by former Javagal Srinath who picked up 315 wickets in 229 ODI matches.
Kuldeep, in the eighth over of his spell during West Indies’ chase of 388 on Wednesday, got the better off Shai Hope (78), Jason Holder (11) and Alzarri Joseph (0) and became the first Indian to take two hat-tricks in international cricket. Earlier, he had scalped a hat trick in 2017 series against Austraia.
