KL Rahul hails Ashwin's captaincy in IPL and ready to give best shot in England

Indian Star Batsman KL Rahul quite satisfied with the 11th edition of Indian Premier League and gave Kings XI Punjab a perfect start at several occasions. Rahul smashed the fastest half-century in the history of IPL and finished at number three in the list of highest run-getters this season in the Indian Premier League.

As per reported in India Today , KL Rahul opened up for the Kings XI Punjab skipper  Ravindra Chandra Ashwin cited that "Ashwin was very calm - he spent a lot of time with the bowlers. He understands what the bowlers are thinking about. It's the same with the batsmen as well. He understands what bowlers go through after a bad day. He was very relaxed as a captain, very well balanced,"

KL Rahul is part of the historic one-off test match against Afghanistan, commencing from 14th June. After that, he will focus on the much-awaited tour of England, this summer.

According to India Today reports, Rahul cited that "I think the performance I do in the IPL remains in the IPL, it is done, its over. It helped me come back in the team in all three formats of the game that is a great thing. But, when I put on the blue kit, it is a completely different scenario, I have to start afresh and cant thinks of past performances. That is the biggest challenge for me," 

"A lot of teams touring England have struggled there and for a young team like us, that is what we strive for. We love to be challenged, as individuals and as a team. We want to go there and give our best shot and show the world that that's the kind of cricket we play, that is how we take up the challenges. It should be great and interesting three months in the UK," said KL Rahul.
