Team India's star cricketer Jasprit Bumrah's grandfather Santokh Singh Bumrah (84) has gone missing. It is reported that he had come from Uttarakhand to meet his grandson to Ahmedabad who had not returned home yet. According to the Times of India report, on December 8, Santokh Singh, who had gone to meet Jasprit, was not allowed to meet his grandson. The police have registered a missing complaint and a special team has been formed to find him.

Rajinder Kaur Bumrah, daughter of Santokh Singh Bumrah, told that her father was missing since Friday. He has not reached home yet. Jasprit's mother Daljit Kaur Bumrah has been informed about this. According to the report filed by the police, Santokh had made request Daljit to meet his grandchild around 1:30 pm on Friday. But he was not allowed to meet or talk to the grandchild.

Police inspector MM Jadeja, who is investigating the matter, said that the search has been started on the basis of the photo of Santokh. It is worth mentioning that Rajinder Kaur told the media that her father wanted to meet Jasprit once. Even before this, he tried to meet the grandson many times but did not get permission. Significantly, Santokh lives in a poor financial situation. He lives in a rented house.
