IPL Auction 2018: Meet Indian young guns including Nagarkoti who became millionaire at the age of 18
The fate of many young players is on the verge of change in the auction going on Bengaluru for the Indian Premier League (IPL) Season 11. At the age of 18, these players got an opportunity to become millionaires. A total of 578 players, including 360 Indians, were involved in the auction that took place between January 27 and 28.
Although more than a thousand players had applied to participate in the IPL, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) finalized the list of 578 players for the auction after the screening. This year the IPL will be held from April 7 to May 27.
Here is a list of those young ones who are the Indian players, who became millionaires as soon as the bidding was held by franchise owners. Interestingly, all the three players currently representing India in the Under-19 World Cup.

India's Under-19 team captain Prithvi Shaw was bought by Delhi Daredevils for Rs 1.2 crore. Shaw has scored five centuries for Mumbai. Shaw, who scored his century in his Ranji debut, has five centuries and three fifties in nine first-class matches.
