India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli enjoyed a 'proper day at the pool' as he shares a pool picture on is official Instagram handle. With Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 all set to kick-off in a few days, Kohli and his RCB side are all optimistic to make it count this season.

A relaxed Kohli is seen lying on his back on a recliner as he cheerfully poses for the camera and gives out the victory sign.

His RCB teammates Pawan Negi and Gurkeerat Singh Mann was also seen enjoying themselves by the pool. Actor Varun Dhawan was impressed with Virat Kohli's chiselled muscles and left a comment: ‘Ripped.’

 

The 31-year-old is highest run scorer in the history of IPL with 5412 runs. In 2016, he broke the record for most runs in a single IPL season by amassing 973 runs which included four tons, it was also an IPL record.

The 13th edition of the IPL is scheduled to take place in the UAE starting 19th September to 10th November 10. The IPL 2020 will be played across three venues — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

The Bengalore based franchise is yet to win the IPL title. The Virat Kohli led side had managed to reach the finals of 2009, 2011, and 2016. but ended up losing in the summit clash against SunRisers Hyderabad.

Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will come face to face in the opening match of the cash rich IPL 2020 on 19th September in Abu Dhabi. RCB will take on SunRisers Hyderabad in their opening match of the T20 league on 21st September.
