IPL 2018: SRK's Kolkata Knight Riders may loose Gautam Gambhir

Under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, owned by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has claimed the IPL title twice. By winning IPL title twice in 2012 and 2014, Gautam Gambhir gave evidence of his captaincy. Gautam Gambhir used to play Delhi Daredevils (DD) before KKR, but during the auction of 2011, the team of Kolkata bought him and became the captain of the team. Since the captaincy of Gambhir, the team performance has improved at a good extent.

Once again on 27th and 28th January the players will be auctioned for the upcoming season of IPL. Meanwhile, a big statement came from Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir said that he does not know whether he will be part of the Kolkata team this year or not. But on the other hand, the team managers have not spoken to him about this matter so far.

Gambhir is in formidable form this time, he has played a key role in taking Delhi's team to the Ranji Trophy final. Gambhir said about the IPL 2018 that Delhi is his hometown and Kolkata is very close to his heart. In such a case, he can play with any franchise in IPL 11. The players' auction for IPL 2018 is scheduled for 27 and 28 January in Bangalore.
