IPL 2018, RCB vs CSK: Virat Kohli's men to clash with MS Dhoni's army
The Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Banglore will clash in the 35th match of Indian Premier League. Chennai Super Kings have had a great season so far with only 3 defeats in the 9 matches they have played so far. However, CSK lost its most recent match at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders after Dinesh Karthik won the match and invited the Superkings to bat first.
Chennai set a decent target of 177 runs at the end of 20 overs but it was chased down by the Knight Riders in the eighteenth over and Chennai lost the match.
Speaking of Royal Challengers Banglore, they have seen a lot of ups and downs in the ongoing season so far. Virat Kohli has been the man leading the team in the IPL but he has not received the kind of support that is expected from his team lately. However, the last match was a different story when RCB was up against the struggling Mumbai Indians.
Tim Southee was awarded the man of the match award and he was the one who restricted Mumbai batsmen form piling a mountain of runs.
Royal Challengers Banglore will be brimming with confidence after the win against Mumbai in their last outing. Whereas Chennai would focus on getting the momentum back and go back to the winning days.
RCB has won their last match but there are things they would like to get right and then, there’s the superhuman AB de Villiers, who blitzed away the last time he walked to the crease. Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu have taken turns to fire in the last couple of matches; Rayudu made a 37-ball 79 recently, while Watson has played two good innings – including the century against the Rajasthan Royals.
