The eleventh season of Indian Premier League has finally reached its playoff round. The four teams that have managed to take the exit door are Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. Though KXIP were made the walkout from the IPL 2018 playoffs, the co-owner and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta seems to celebrate yesterday's Mumbai Indians knock-out from the season's playoffs. The actress grabbed all the attention of cricket fans for apparently taking a dig at Mumbai Indians (MI).
To get into the finals of the IPL 2018, three teams were in the contention-- Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab. While, Rajasthan were on 14 points and was relying on Mumbai's exit in the match against Delhi on Sunday, and in CSK versus KXIP, MI and KXIP, by 53 or more runs, had to win their respective games to grab the single seat available in the playoffs. However, Mumbai Indians failed in the run-chase against DD and KXIP went on to lose against MS Dhoni and his Yellow army.
Well, a video of KXIP's co-owner Preity Zinta during the CSK vs KXIP game has been making rounds on social media soon after MI’s loss against DD. In the video, Zinta is caught saying, “I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the finals. Really happy.”
A Twitter user @jogtweets posted a video as the KXIP innings came closer to a finish in Pune and the video has since then gone viral, with over 3,200 retweets 4,900 likes.
The video has been viral over the internet and left people wondering, is she really celebrating Mumbai's exit from the playoffs.
