IPL matches have always been a discussion for the cricket lovers which team wins or loss always matters to the fans. The same has happened in the last match played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Mumbai. However, Mumbai Indians won the match by 46 runs. The target that MI gave to the RCB was not so easy to chase to win the match.
RCB skipper Virat Kohli was proved himself the fighter during the match even after losing the match against MI. Virat scored 92 unbeaten runs in an innings and become the lone fighter for his team. He also becomes the leading run scorer in IPL 2018. However, MI skipper Rohit Sharma also scored 94 runs which and help his team to give the huge target to RCB.
The efforts made by RCB skipper also created the history of IPL by becoming the leading run scorer. However, Kohli didn’t seem to be happy at the end of the match as his team won’t be able to win the match.
Well, Mumbai Indians is now in the sixth position in IPL after winning the match in the points table. While Royal Challengers Banglore moved to the seventh position. Looking at all the matches played by RCB and MI in IPL 2018, both have won only one match. But after the match played between MI and RCB on 17 April, Mumbai Indians has scored better-run rate with a victory.
