IPL 2018, CSK vs SRH: Dhoni won the toss and chose to field first
CSK has won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings will clash in the match 46 of Indian Premier League. The tournament has come to a decisive point from where a win or a loss can decide the fate of the teams if they will be a part of the playoffs or not. Interestingly, this is not the case with CSK or SRH, the two teams being at the top of the points table.
Whilst the Sunrisers Hyderabad have already confirmed their place in the top 4, they will be hoping to continue their momentum today with a win. Chennai Super Kings have been excellent in this campaign also, however, their place in the Playoffs is yet to be confirmed. A win today in Pune will go a long way to doing just that.
CSK have several players in form now – Suresh Raina the latest to make a substantial contribution with the bat. The bowlers could do better on the discipline front though; the CSK skipper admitted after the previous match that the bowlers did not execute as planned and hence conceded plenty of boundaries.
It will be interesting to see how the top two performers of the league play against each other. The match is sure going to be an exciting affair between bat and ball.
