Bishan Singh Bedi to Sachin Tendulkar: When ICC Hall of Fame graced Indian cricketers

Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has been instated into the ICC’s Hall of Fame along with South Africa’s Allan Donald. Joining Sachin Tendulkar and Allan Donald in the Hall of Fame was two time World Cup winning Australian woman cricketer Cathryn Fitzpatrick.

"It's a huge honour for me," Tendulkar said at the induction ceremony held here on Sunday night.

Other Indian cricketers on the list are Bishan Singh Bedi (2009), Sunil Gavaskar (2009), Kapil Dev (2009), Ani Kumble (2015), Rahul Dravid (2018).

Sachin Tendulkar is looked upon as the greatest to have played the game alongside Sir Donald Bradman and still remains the top run scorer in both Test and ODIs.

Tendulkar has 34,357 runs in all formats of the game and is the only batsman to have scored 100 international hundreds.

While, on the other hand, Allan Donald is one of the finest bowler to have played the game, he had 330 Test and 272 ODI wickets to his name before retiring in 2003.
