India Vs England, 5th Test: Virat Kohli may introduced this player to replace Rishabh Pant at Oval, London
After losing the series 3-1 in Southampton, Virat Kohli's men will take on England for the fifth and final Test match of the summer at the Oval, London. When Virat Kohli takes the field at the Oval, he should look to bridge the gap and make it 2-3 at Oval.
Due to out-of-flavour form Indian all-rounder Rishabh Pant might be dropped from the Indian squad in the final Test. As per reported in Times of India, Indian wicketkeeper batsman has been seen with gloves in the net. On wednesday, he was also seen practice at the slip positions.
Both the players including Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik included in the squad in place of Wriddhiman Shah who is injured and out of squad during the whole Engkand tour. Unfortunately, both the players had not done given any terrific performance in the series.
Dinesh Karthik had scored 21 runs in four innings while Rishabh Pant haven't impress with the bat. But undoubtedly he is a brilliant player.
It is noteworthy that in the initial few matches, due to poor performance on their number 6 and poor performance behind the wickets, they were shown the way out of the playing XI. But now it seems that team management has made up his mind to give him a place in the final Test of this tour.
