Ind vs SL: Rohit Sharma gifts MS Dhoni a new nickname after their unbeaten partnership in 3rd ODI

After an impressive win in the third ODI, in which India has sealed the series by 3-0, the hard hitting batsman of team India Rohit Sharma has given the former skipper MS Dhoni a new nickname.

Indian opener Rohit Sharma (124*) smashed a brilliant century, while Dhoni (67*) scored a half-century as India registered a six-wicket victory at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on 27 August.

Rohit took to Twitter and shared a picture with Dhoni captioning it as, “Special night with the special man. Great way to win the series. #WeMarchOn #IceMan & Hitman.”

Whereas, right-arm fast-medium bowler Jasprit Bumrah played a prominent role in restricting the hosts to 217/9 with career-best figures of 5 for 27. Bumrah was awarded the man of the match award for his exceptional performance.

With an impressive win in the third ODI, India has already sealed the series by 3-0 while two matches are yet to be played.
