ICC World Cup 2019: Babar Azam makes big claim about Virat Kohli
The marquee match between India and Pakistan in the ongoing World Cup 2019 will take place on Sunday. With building pressure and expectations, coming face to face with the arch-foes, that too in the World Cup, is going to be an uphill task espicially for the first timers.
Irrespective of their talents and potential, the players will be learning and experiencing a lot of things which will in future mould them into a better player.
One such player is Pakistan’s Babar Azam, who is playing his first World Cup, he will have to go through one of the biggest tests of his career. Though the 24 year old is considered one of the best batsman in the pakistan team with a batting average of almost 51, Babar will be a nervous starter going into this game.
Azam who is trying to learn from Indian skipper Virat Kohli, also bats at no 3 for his team and has proven to be the most valuable jem for the men in green. Going into Sunday’s electrifying clash, Babar said he watches Virat Kohli’s batting and the way he adapts to different conditions.
“I try to learn with experience & this is my process of learning. Kohli’s winning ratio is higher for India & I’m trying to achieve that for Pakistan also,” Azam was quoted as saying.
As Virat Kohli is leading India against Pakistan for the first time in the World Cup, he will definitely be under pressure. And with in-form Shikhar Dhawan’s injury, team India will be expecting a lot more from Kohli than they usually do.
