The South African Star AB De Villiers’ has decided to step down from his responsibilities and announced his retirement from all international cricket. He is one of the greatest and finest batsmen in modern era.
The 34 year old, claimed the coveted SA Cricketer of the Year award twice (2014 and 2015). AB has a phenomenal number of milestones to his name. He has made world’s fastest ODI 50 (16 balls), 100 (31 balls) and 150 (64 balls).
AB has the second highest individual Test score for South Africa (278*). The South African batsman has the highest points (935) on the ICC Test rankings.
AB De Villiers played incredible 114 Tests and scored 8765 runs at an average of 50.66 with 22 hundred and 46 fifties. In ODIs, de Villiers scored 9577 in 228 games he played for Proteas, scoring 25 hundred and with a fastest ODI hundred against his name.

Aiden Markram : He palyed 10 Test match with an average of 55.56 which includes two ton against the likes of Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins in the recently concluded Test series against the Australia. Markram scored runs with astrike-rate of 125.56 across 30 games at an average of 35.50 including seven fifties in his T20 career.
Christiaan Jonker : In his T20 career he scored 1665 runs' which includes 7 fifties to his name. Jonker made his T20I debut against a Indian pacers like Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and wrist spinners like Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav in the T20I series of India's tour of South Africa.
Henrich Klaasen : He shown his consistent performances in both First-Class cricket as well as in the shortest format of the game. With an average 34.37 in 53 matches at a stunning strike-rate of 144.7 including seven fifties to his milestone. He also represented Rajsthan Royals in recently concluded IPL tournament 2018.
