Guess the 'F' in 'MFN,' asks Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir on 'Most Favoured Nation' status for Pakistan
Retired cricketer Gautam Gambhir reacted to India’s withdrawal of the Most Favoured Nation status from Pakistan. Gautam said, “I have some news for Pakistan. We should continue their ‘MFN’ status. Only thing is, that this time we the civilians will decide what ‘F’ stands for.
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir while condemning the terror attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans said that there should be no more talks with Pakistan, the only conversation we should have with them has to be in a battle ground.
The World Cup winning player tweeted, “Yes, let’s talk with the separatists. Yes, let’s talk with Pakistan. But this time conversation can’t be on the table, it has to be in a battle ground. Enough is enough. 18 CRPF personnel killed in IED blast on Srinagar-Jammu highway.”
A CRPF convoy of 78 vehicles carrying 2,547 soldiers was attacked by a car bomb in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday. More than 40 CRPF jawans were killed and many others were injured. This is termed as the worst attack on Indian soldiers since Uri attack in 2016.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that a strong-reply will be given to the Pakistan based terror outfit ‘Jaish-e-Mohammed. Pakistan has said that Indian government and media are linking the attacks to the country without any investigation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the sacrifices of our Jawans won’t go in vain and have given free hand to security forces, no one will be spared. India have already ended the most favored nation status for Pakistan. India might also hold the process of talks between India and Pakistan over Kartarpur corridor.
