From Virat Kohli to Rohit Sharma, here's how Indian cricketers celebrated holi; watch video

Indian cricketers are busy preparing for the upcoming Indian Premier League season and in the midst of it they took some time out to wish everyone a happy holi. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Ravichandran Ashwin they all took to their official Twitter account to wish their fans.

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma Tweeted, “Holi is the time to reach out with colours of joy, it is the time to love and forgive and it’s also about the colours that you wanna paint your life with #HappyHoli.”

Virat Kohli who will lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL wrote, “Happy Holi to everyone! Let’s celebrate the vibrant hues, the beautiful relationships and the joyous laughter. Here’s a glimpse of my Holi with some of my friends at @MuveAcoustics #Holi2019 #MuveAcoustics #MajorFrenzyFeels.”

While Rajasthan Royals player Ajinkya Rahane posted a video along with a message wishing everyone a happy and safe holi. Rahane’s video message also conveyed the same. Rahane Tweeted, “Wishing everyone a happy and safe holi! #HappyHoli.”

 

While Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin posted a beautiful message where he urged everyone to not harm animals while playing holi. Ashwin wrote, “Wish you all a happy, prosperous and colorful holi. Colors are for our lives, not for the animals. #Holi.”

Delhi Capitals player Shikhar Dhawan also posted a video message and wrote, “Buran a mano holi hai (Don’t feel bad its holi).”

The dates for 2019 edition of Indian Premier League have been announced by the organisers. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will play Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener on March 23 in Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
