Former Indian cricketer supports Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul over their 'sexist' remark on a TV show
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul has been in news recently for some bad reasons, their international career seem in jeopardy after the duo was suspended from the ongoing ODI series in Australia. Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has lent his support to Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul for their misogynist remark against women on a TV show.
Hardik Pandya made some disturbing comments on the show bur his most disturbing remark was about his family being open and how he came home after losing his virginity and said, “Aaj karke aya hu (I did it today).” He also recalled taking his parents to a party where they asked him which woman he was seeing, and he pointed at all of them one by one and said, his parents were proud of him for having ‘scene’ with multiple girls.
KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were on national duty representing India in Australia, when they were called back mid-tour. While KL Rahul showed a streak of poor performances in the recently concluded Test series which India won by 2-1, Hardik Pandya did not play any game.
India and Australia are currently playing a three-match ODI series in which Australia is leading by 1-0. Australia won the first ODI against India by 34 runs despite Rohit Sharma scored an amazing century. Both the teams are playing the second ODI on Tuesday, where Australia have already played the first innings and are bowling now in the second innings.
Australia managed to put up a healthy total of 298 for 9 on board with Shaun Marsh hitting a fabulous century and Glenn Maxwell playing a cameo in between. Marsh hit 131 runs while Maxwell scored 48 runs. Bhuveneshwar Kumar was best among the Indian lot, taking 4 wickets in 10 overs giving away 45 runs. Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets and Jadeja took 1.
