Despite not being selected in Indian squad for UK tour, CSK star Ambati Rayudu all set for England
Chennai Super Kings star batsman Ambati Rayudu was dropped from the Indian Squad who scored 600 plus runs in the recently concluded IPL season 2018.
After got dropped from the Indian squad ICC Chairman N.Srinivasan showed his regret over Ambati Rayudu losing his spot in the Indian team after failing the Yo-Yo test which is important parameter for the selection.
Ambati Rayudu is hoping for making a dream comeback to the Indian squad after he failed the mandatory yo-yo test.
Despite failing in Yo-Yo test he is all set for England tour however, he is not part of squad. Actually Ambati will play a role of mentor for junior Chennai Super Kings. Actually they have to play acadmy tournament in Yorkshire.
As reported in Crictracker website “I am still working hard to play for India and I’ll be having a test soon… in a few weeks’ time. So, after I pass it, I’ll be available for selection again,” said Rayudu on being asked how close he is to completing his India comeback.
As reported in Cricketaddictor ICC chief, N Srinivasan cited that“I am sad he is not with the team. I don’t think it is my sentiments. Anybody who watched cricket this season would echo alike. But I never comment on selection, so I did not want to be misunderstood."
Further he said that “I am disappointed, I am sad. As a cricket lover, I am said he is not in the team. But I did not want it to be a reflection of selection. I never comment on such things".
