SBI ATM cash withdrawal rules to be effective from 1st July, all you need to know
For State Bank of India customers, a deal of alterations will be happening with the change of month starting 1st July 2021.
The SBI is going to change its charges for ATM cash withdrawal, cash withdrawal from the branch and cheque book. For Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) Accounts or SBI BSBD accounts, charges will be recovered beyond free four cash withdrawal transaction which includes ATM and branch.
Besides this, SBI cousomers will be excused from any kind of charges on first ten cheque leaf. For cheque leaf exceeding this limit will be subject to charges, the changes are going to be in effect from 1st July 2021.
SBI cash withdrawal charges from branch:
As maintained by the largest commercial bank in India, cash withdrawal at both branch and ATM is restricted now and more than that limit, there will be charges put on the SBI account holder from 1st July, Rs 15 in addition to GST will be put on SBI customers on every cash withdrawal at branch channel or ATM apart from four free cash withdrawal.
SBI ATM withdrawal limit:
On SBI ATM cash withdrawal regulations which is going to be in forced from 1st July 2021, the SBI went on to add that Rs 15 plus GST will be applicable on each transaction except four free transaction. Alike charge will be put on cash withdrawal from other than SBI ATM as well.
SBI cheque book charges:
Starting 1st July 2021, the largest Indian commercial bank, which is the SBI is going to limit cheque leaf usages from its BSBD account holders as well. The new SBI cheque book charges effective from the begining of next month says that customers are allowed to use only 10 cheque leaf with no charges.
Which means, a SBI BSBD account holder is allowed to use only 10 cheque leafs in one financial year. Using cheque leafs more than this limit will be chargeable.
After use of first 10 cheque leafs:
* Next 10 will be charged at Rs 40 plus GST;
* Next 25 will be charged Rs 75 plus GST; and
* Rs 50 plus GST will be charged on Emergency Cheque Book for first 10 cheque leafs and thereof.
Nonetheless, senior citizens are let of the hook from this cheque book use limit.
